In Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World
National Conference
Campus Outreach National Conference
We had our annual Conference in Chattanooga Tennessee along with 16 other Campus Outreach Regions, as well as some international students and staff. We are thankful that God really made Himself known at the conference in a huge way.
Here are some things the students had to say about it:
God used conference to reinforce to me how important it is to know my identity as His child and to understand that he created me for his purpose and glory. Understanding these things affect the way I live and worship God. The more convinced of who I am and my purpose of living, the more I will strive to desire Him and his word and desire for others to know him as well. - Jakell Santiago, Junior at Valdosta State
This entire week at Christmas Conference flipped my life upside down. I think the speaker that truly impacted me the most was Matt Chandler. He said something on day two that really hit me. “You are easily killed”. That really sunk in deep in my heart. For a very long time I’ve been selfish with this amazing gift I have been given called eternal life. I’ve been waiting until tomorrow to share God’s word with people but who is to say I have tomorrow? What am I waiting for to get out there and share the gospel? I have always been scared of sharing God with other people so I simply wrote it off thinking that it just was not my calling. I learned this week that it’s everybody’s calling. When our lives are spirit-filled and Christ-centered then they will be Gospel-driven. After this week I can tell that my life is definitely Gospel-driven. I can’t wait to get back to school so that God can use me as a tool to share with as many people as he brings my way. God Is most glorified in us we we are satisfied in him. After this week I can honestly say im pretty satisfied.
