Campus Outreach National Conference

We had our annual Conference in Chattanooga Tennessee along with 16 other Campus Outreach Regions, as well as some international students and staff.  We are thankful that God really made Himself known at the conference in a huge way.

Here are some things the students had to say about it:

God used conference to reinforce to me  how important it is to know my identity as His child and to understand that he created me for his purpose and glory. Understanding these things affect the way I live and worship God. This entire week at Christmas Conference flipped my life upside down. I think the speaker that truly impacted me the most was Matt Chandler. He said something on day two that really hit me. “You are easily killed”. That really sunk in deep in my heart. For a very long time I’ve been selfish with this amazing gift I have been given called eternal life. I’ve been waiting until tomorrow to share God’s word with people but who is to say I have tomorrow? What am I waiting for to get out there and share the gospel? I have always been scared of sharing God with other people so I simply wrote it off thinking that it just was not my calling. I learned this week that it’s everybody’s calling. When our lives are spirit-filled and Christ-centered then they will be Gospel-driven. After this week I can tell that my life is definitely Gospel-driven. I can’t wait to get back to school so that God can use me as a tool to share with as many people as he brings my way. God Is most glorified in us we we are satisfied in him. After this week I can honestly say im pretty satisfied.

Evangelism

Campus Outreach Augusta is committed to ‘Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World,’ and to that, people need to be reached with the Gospel!  Evangelism is a crucial component of our ministry!

Finances, Stewardship, Money & Raising Support

One of the most difficult things that college students have to deal with is learning how to spend their money.  As we equip them to be Kingdom leaders, Campus Outreach Augusta also wants to equip them to be adults.  For all of our summer projects, we encourage students to raise support so that they can learn how to be stewards of what God has provided for them.  These resources are helpful in doing that.

Leadership Development

Campus Outreach builds relationships with students because we believe that they will be the leaders of the next generation.  We are committed to developing these students as they grow as leaders.  These resources are helpful tools for Campus Outreach staff and students.

Mobilization

The last part of the Campus Outreach Augusta vision statement is ‘for the Lost World,’  our aim is to send our students out into the world as equipped and established laborers.  As they prepare for transition, Campus Outreach staff are committed to helping them be the most effective, prepared, and connected once they leave the campus.

Who Is God?

In today’s culture, it is difficult for people to find and examine truth about who God is and what we can trust and hope in.  These resources help Campus Outreach Augusta’s students and staff understand and encounter God!

Personal Development Resources

As college students or Campus Outreach staff members, it is easy to get caught up in the everyday business and neglect their development and time with God.  These tools will help give perspective for why that it is important and crucial for the Christian walk.
